Hey You . . .

I say that in my grandmom’s voice. It was a voice that soothed me, comforted me, and gave me courage. My grandmom was my original tribe. Now it’s time to find a new tribe. Join me for all the things that make us who and what we are . . . women, in every sense of the word.

JUST A LOOK AT SOME OF MY HAPPY PLACES.

Well, and one not-so-happy place. But I’m getting there.

BOOKS

When I turned 50 I celebrated by publishing my first manuscript, Daddy Issues, a memoir. The memoir is a heart grabbing trip down memory lane to learn how to love myself more and hate my father a lot less. Readers love it. But finding readers is very hard for an indie author. So how about reading it for yourself and spreading the word.

Daddy Issues, a Memoir is free for Kindle readers and available on all major online book platforms.

You can also purchase a copy from Camley Publishing and use the code NEWREADER20 for 20% off the cover price.

BLOG

When my mom calls me she always says “What you up to baaaabeeee.” My response is always the same, “everything and nothing mommmmmmaaaaaa!” And it’s true. I am always up to everything and nothing. But, now I’m jotting down all those nothings hoping to find everything in the process. After all, everything can’t be for nothing. . . right? I’m currently working on my blog. Be sure to subscribe for updates and the announcement of the official launch!

MENOPAUSE

Yeeeppp. You read that right. I wrote the word.
Menopause Minutes, an interactive podcast series for mature women seeking to find their tribe, premiered in February and we had a ball. Nothing’s worse than trying to figure it all out by yourself. I learned that the hard way. But when I found my tribe, women who truly understood my words and actions even if their journey didn’t look exactly like mine, I started to feel sane again. Take a look at our first “tribunal” as I like to call it, and join us one night when you’re feeling up to it, especially join us if you’re not feeling up to it. That’s when you need your tribe the most!
